We Will Rock You
8th - 10th Apr 2027
NRAD Youth and NRAD Youth Juniors presents WE WILL ROCK YOU, a high-octane, adrenaline-fuelled musical featuring the iconic Queen hits, including “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Are the Champions,” “Somebody to Love,” “Don’t Stop Me Now,” and of course, “We Will Rock You.”
Set in a post-apocalyptic future where individuality has been outlawed and music is controlled by algorithms, the story follows two young revolutionaries who dare to defy the system to save rock ‘n’ roll. This fist-pumping, foot-stomping anthem to freedom and self-expression is a musical for our time—unapologetically bold and filled with the timeless power of Queen’s legendary music. With over 7 million fans rocked in its original 12-year West End run, WE WILL ROCK YOU made history as the longest-running show at London’s Dominion Theatre.
A global phenomenon, WWRY has been performed in 28 countries and seen by more than 16 million people worldwide. This explosive, rockin’ spectacle is a celebration of the power of music and individuality that will leave audiences cheering for more. WE WILL ROCK YOU Young@Part® is the authorised shortened edition of the West End musical for youth theatres.
- Tickets: From £8
- Times: Matinee: 3PM
Evening: 7PM
About Us
We are New Romney Am Dram!
Formed in Autumn 2017, New Romney Am Dram (NRAD) puts on two annual productions ranging from pantomimes, musicals and plays in the Romney Marsh area.
We've come a long way!
Our first production was a pantomime called "Jack Frost's Easter Adventure" which we performed in 2018 over the Easter Holidays, which was the first time many of us had performed on stage!
Here's to many more productions!
If it wasn't for our audience, we wouldn't be where we are today! We've put on over 10 productions, and we have many more to go!
The Theatre
The Marsh Academy is located at: Station Rd, New Romney, TN28 8BB.
Upon entry to the carpark, there is a gate on the left, follow this to get to the entrance of the theatre.
We always have illuminated signs in the car park, you can always contact us for more information.
Our theatre has many facilities and performances that are accessible to everyone, including 9 wheelchair spaces available. These are front row seats with a wheelchair accessible hallway leading to them.
We also offer a relaxed performance with our pantomime that has been adapted to suit people who might require a more relaxed environment when going to the theatre. For more details please see our FAQs.
Tickets for the wheelchair spaces are not available from the Ticketsource website. To purchase these tickets, please contact our box office by telephone or email. (See Contact for more info)
We expect all audience members to treat our front of house team, cast, school staff, and other audience members with respect.
We also ask that audience members do not take pictures during a performance. This sometimes is an exception for the finale, but we inform audiences during our pre-show announcement whether this is allowed.
We aim to create an environment that allows everyone to feel safe, and have an enjoyable visit.

Frequently asked questions
Some technical changes have been made to the performance – this includes quieter music, reducing loud or surprising sound effects, avoiding strobe lighting and keeping the main house lights on but dimmed.
We also provide a ‘chill-out’ area in the foyer for people to visit if the experience becomes overwhelming. Generally, people are allowed to enter and leave the auditorium freely, and there is an open attitude towards audience noise and movement.
However, due to availability, we do encourage audience members to purchase tickets in advance via our website or by ringing our box office. (07434895113)
Tickets can also be purchased in person at The Clippers Barbers, 19 Littlestone Road, TN28 8LN.
